GOLF CLUB PERUGIA
The Perugia Golf Club is a pleasant oasis just a few kilometers from the center of the Umbrian capital. It is a green heart born in 1959 by the ingenious Mario Spagnoli, son of Luisa Spagnoli, who decided to create the first two golf holes on the then clayey soils of the Santa Sabina area. Since then, the club, increasingly extended with more holes, immediately became a pleasant meeting point, where conviviality and healthy friendship bring the members together to always keep the association alive.
The gently undulating course, par 72, whose central core dates back to the late fifties, was redesigned in the early nineties by the architect Davide Mezzacane. Rich vegetation surrounds the fairways of numerous holes that require precision from the player, especially on the first shot; holes that are not long, but full of pitfalls.
