THE CITY OF POPES
Tuscia Viterbese is an enchanting place for a regenerating weekend. Mysterious parks, fairytale villas, suggestive palaces and villages from another time await you! It can be considered among the most beautiful areas of Italy from every point of view: landscape, history and culture. The ideal solution if you have decided to organize a trip out of town in search of an experience made of history, art, culture and well-being.

WHAT TO SEE
From the aristocratic palaces of Piazza del Plebiscito to the authentic medieval atmospheres of the San Pellegrino district and then the Palazzo Papale and that of the Priors, the Romanesque Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Palazzo dei Governatori and that of the Podestà . Even in terms of traditions, Viterbo fears no rivals. Not to be missed - on September 3 of each year - the transport of the Macchina di Santa Rosa, dedicated to the patron saint of the city. Named by UNESCO as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity, this colossal votive machine on a shoulder 30 meters high and weighing over 5000 kilos, is carried in procession by a hundred "Facchini" on a one-kilometer route in the heart of the city. And after a day of discovery there is nothing better than a bath in the warm thermal waters of the monumental Terme dei Papi.
CIVITA OF BAGNOREGGIO
A small and charming village perched on a tuff hill reachable only by a long pedestrian bridge. Crossing the entrance door you have the impression that time stands still. From the central square a maze of alleys starts, each of which leads to balconies and terraces that open onto the splendid panorama of the Valle dei Calanchi, a constantly changing landscape, where the calcareous soil and sandy clay are modeled by atmospheric agents. Part of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, Civita di Bagnoregio is an unmissable destination for those seeking intimate atmospheres and a touch of poetry.
